As someone who has had to work incredibly hard to get to where I am today, I understand first-hand the need for of a well-rounded knowledge-based movement instructor. For over 15 years I have studied, internalized and taken the best from various inspired modalities from Gyrotonic to Pilates to Spiral Dynamics to dance and melded them together as one.
My approach to teaching is simple: be direct, friendly and empathetic. I am a true believer in a strong female alliance. I encourage and support women to discover and not be afraid of uncovering their uniqueness and beauty through movement. This goes beyond a mission, this is what I was meant to do.
Along with my background knowledge and training in Pilates and functional fitness, the PortDeBras™ technique is how I have chosen to spread the principles of fluid, functional and elegant movement with others. I describe it as moving meditation intended to simultaneously heal and strengthen the body and the mind.

WHAT IS PortDeBras™ ?
The French word “port de bras” (pronounced pour-duh-bra) is a ballet term that literally means “the carriage of the arms.” The PortDeBras™ method is the brainchild of Russian choreographer Vladimir Snezhik. Mr. Snezhik saw a gap in the fitness industry and wanted to create a system where people regardless of age, ability and skill level could experience the joy of dance through free-flowing movement. But PortDeBras™ is NOT a dance class and NO dance experience is required. It is, rather, a unique amalgam of principles and techniques borrowed from yoga, pilates, tai-chi, ballet and stretch work combined in such a way that you get the feeling AS IF you were dancing.

PotDeBras™ is both restorative and rejuvenating. With an emphasis on flowing movement, this no-impact workout is safe and effective for everyone regardless of age and fitness level. The method targets the entire core with a special focus on strengthening the spine. PortDeBras™ uses elongating and strength conditioning techniques to work the body as a whole. The arms, legs, hands and feet move together in coordination with the core. BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR
It is necessary to start your education with PortDeBras™ teacher training workshop called: PortDeBras™ Introduction (a 2-day seminar).
Second step is to buy the PortDeBras™ Licence which guarantees you the status “PortDeBras™ Instructor for 2 years. By having bought your PortDeBras™ licence you have become a member of the official PortDeBras™ Club which provides you with online video materials. You will have access to official videos 12 months. Every PortDeBras™ Club video is 45/60 min long and contains sequences without and with various equipment (mat, Fitball, elastic Band). Within 2 years you must attend PortDeBras™ Certified Course called PortDeBras™ Basic (level 1)
