PortDeBras™ Camp

After quite some time, I’d like to invite you to CAMP
in Prague on August 15–16, 2026

Saturday–Sunday. Late Friday afternoon, August 14: Optional group outing to Hotel SEN in Senohraby, just outside Prague

Please note: Space is limited. If you’re interested, sign up.

You can pay later, but I’d appreciate it if you could let me know in advance who’s signing up.

“Early bird” payments are due by the end of March. Accommodation from Saturday to Sunday is not included in the camp price; we will not be sleeping in the gym as was once the case at camps in Ostrava. It is advantageous to coordinate with others and rent an apartment or cottage on the outskirts of Prague, as the camp takes place on the outskirts of Prague, specifically in – Dubeč, where all my training sessions take place.

Look for accommodation in areas such as Prague-Uhříněves, Prague-Dubeč, Hájek, Čestlice, or Průhonice. In Uhříněves, for example, there is the “Rychety” accommodation, where you can rent a small cottage and reach the camp by bus.

The main idea behind the camp is to provide an opportunity for those who already teach PortDeBras™ or plan to start studying this concept in the near future to meet, as well as for those who are interested in participating and enjoy PortDeBras™. However, please keep in mind that the camp is designed as follows:

Let’s talk about what’s new in the world of PortDeBras™

Let’s review the basic principles of PortDeBras™ through specific sequences from different levels of the concept

We’ll review what makes a particular movement sequence interesting and how we can personalize it—that is, how to approach it creatively “in our own way”—and have the opportunity to discuss this creative approach with a colleague or with mentor Lucie D.

We’ll practice/dance a sequence from the PortDeBras™ Progression level with Lucie Dědičová—specifically Level 3, which I’ve never presented live before, so this is a unique opportunity

We will have the opportunity to try out a different PortDeBras™ harness.

At the camp, we’ll work out with two guests

I’d love to take those who can make time on Friday afternoon to the most beautiful wellness & sauna center in the Czech Republic

Hotel Sen: Wellness admission is not included in the camp price. Admission fee: 750 CZK / 120 min. We’ll finalize the details of this trip a week before the camp begins, when it will be clearer to all of us whether our family or summer plans will allow us to enjoy some relaxation on Friday as well

If there’s anything you, as instructors (and the few male instructors), would like to see covered at the camp, please send me an email or a private message. Any topic is welcome; I’ll think it over and then figure out how—and whether—I can accommodate your request or provide answers if they’re specific questions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your registration at least 30 days before the event date, we will refund the full amount. Between 30 and 7 days before the event, you may request a refund of 50% of the amount paid. The refund option expires 7 days before the event date. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute in your place; this way, your payment will not be forfeited and can be used by someone else. We do not allow so-called substitutions; that is, if you are unable to attend, we do not allow the transfer of payment to an event on a different date.
